Mark’s experience is characterised by work in global organisations managing complex situations across multiple global business locations. This has focused on operational optimisation, revenue generation, restructuring, and merger in the areas of business development, operations, finance, and technology.

Recently Mark has provided consultancy services composed of a mixture of change management, project management, business analysis, and subject matter expertise in the area of business development.
He has led projects; assessing the suitability and viability of offshoring support roles, analysing and documenting the client’s business development process, developing a business development function in the Republic of Ireland and integrating it into a UK business model, the rollout of a CRM system, as well as providing behavioural change expertise to other projects.
Prior to this Mark provided consultancy services to a portfolio of early stage businesses in the media / technology sector. He provided expertise and leadership in the areas of business development, business modeling, financial modeling, organisational design, and deal negotiation.
Mark has 13 years of banking and finance sector experience principally in the roles of COO and business unit manager. During this time he played significant roles in mergers and restructurings, led organisational change and operational optimisation initiatives, as well as designing and optimising client facing initiatives to deliver increased revenue.
Mark’s expertise has its foundations in information technology, with BA (Hons) Business Information Systems, experience supporting the management team of the premiere software development group at Digital Equipment Corporation, and numerous software systems development initiatives.
While maintaining and leveraging his understanding of the importance of technology his expertise is principally shaped by the pursuit of strategic business goals through operational change programmes that control costs and maximise revenues through the application of best practice and structured project management approaches.
